PARKS TO BE VISITED
- SAMBURU GAME RESERVE: It has a lot of wildlife and bird species some of them only found in this region and no where else in Kenya.
- OL PEJETA: Ol Pejeta conservancy is the largest black rhino sanctuary in east Africa. The conservancy is also home to two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhino.
- LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK: Lake Nakuru national park has over 400 bird species making it a bird watchers paradise and is famous for the flocks of the greater and lesser Flamingo.
- MASAI MARA: It is one of the best destinations in the world for wildlife viewing in their natural environment.
- LAKE NAIVASHA: Lake Naivasha is a fresh water lake with sandy banks and fringed with papyrus.
- AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK : Its main attraction is huge numbers of big tasked elephants which can be viewed at close range in their natural environment. Mt Kilimanjaro is it’s another attraction.
- TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK : It is one of the largest national parks in Kenya covering an area of 9065 sq km and truly a wilderness outpost. Birdlife is prolific with over 400 species.
- TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK : It has a size of 13474 sq. km and it is also one of the largest game park in Kenya. Tsavo East national park has vast herds of dust red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

15 Days rustic Kenya wildlife and beach safari Itinerary
Day 1: NAIROBI TO SAMBURU
Your driver guide will pick you in the early morning. After the safari briefing, depart for Samburu national park. View scenic country side as you drive along. Driving with few breaks you will arrive in time for a lunch at the iconic Samburu Intrepids. After lunch and short rest, proceed for an afternoon game drive. Samburu Intrepids is a lush oasis on the banks of the great Uaso Nyiro River in Samburu Game Reserve. The tented luxury camp is a delight to be in – deliciously cooled by the river breeze and the forest. The camp sits on raised decks overlooking the brown river where the elephants sometimes make an appearance or the crocodiles come out to lounge by the river’s banks.

Day 2: SAMBURU FULL DAY
On this days you will have morning and afternoon game drives in this wild and rugged piece of heaven. Samburu National park is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Ewaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected parks home to species only native to the north of the equator. They are the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx, gerenuk gazelle and the Somali ostrich.

DAY 3: SAMBURU TO OL PEJETA
Depart from Samburu in the morning and drive to Ol pejeta. Check in at the sweet waters tented camp and have lunch. After lunch have game drives in Ol pejeta. The conservancy is one of the prime sanctuaries in Laikipia plateau. It has Southern white Rhinos and also a refuge to the last remaining nothern white rhinos in the world. (Viewing the Nothern white Rhino needs to be booked in advance at extra cost) The Jane Goodall Institute also operates a remarkable Chimpanzee Sanctuary where you can see the primates.
Back to the camp in the evening.

Day 4: OL PEJETA TO LAKE NAKURU
You will depart Ol Pejeta in the morning and drive to Lake Nakuru national park. On the way, you will have a brief stop around Nyahururu at the equator marker. Arrive in time for lunch at Sarova lion hill lodge. The safari lodge features a classic aesthetic and timeless design with a sense of calm and relaxation. It offers the most scenic and spectacular views of the Lake and the National Park After short rest you will have an afternoon game drive in the park. Lake Nakuru National Park is known for harboring a lot of flamingo birds and other birds that are found on the shores of the Lake Nakuru. The animals that you will encounter in the National Park safari include both black and white rhinos, buffaloes, white colobus monkeys, impalas, hippodromes, waterbucks among others.

Day 5: LAKE NAKURU TO MAASAI MARA
Depart Lake Nakuru in the morning and drive to Masai Mara. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch and a short rest you will take your first thrilling evening game drive in the Masai Mara game reserve, one of Africa’s top safari destinations. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant like in the Masai Mara national reserve. It is one of the best destinations in the world for wildlife viewing in their natural environment. There are over 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and more than 400 birds species recorded in the reserve.

Day 6: MAASAI MARA FULL DAY
Have breakfast and then proceed for a full day tour, game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The game drives take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and a plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. You will also have an option of visiting a Masai village at an extra cost. A balloon safari is also another option on this day at extra cost.

Day 7: MAASAI MARA TO LAKE NAIVASHA
After breakfast, you will head to Lake Naivasha. The forests around lake Naivasha are abound with bird life with over 450 species of birds, making it a world class birding destination. The lake also draws a great range of game to these shores. Arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon you, will head to hells gate national park where you will have game drives with options of guided nature walk or cycling at an extra cost.

Day 8: LAKE NAIVASHA TO AMBOSELI
After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park with a brief stop at the Mai Mahiu to view the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at around midday and check in and have lunch. After lunch and a short rest, you will embark on a late afternoon game drive watching various wildlife in their natural habitat. Amboseli is famous for being the best place in the world to get close to big herds of free-ranging elephants.

- Distance: Approximately 330 kilometers from Lake Naivasha.
Day 9: AMBOSELI FULL DAY
Wake up to amazing views of Mt Kilimanjaro weather permitting. After breakfast engage in full day game drives in this wonderful park. You will have the opportunity of seeing big heard of elephants up close. Another exciting place will be the observation point where you will have a birds view of the expansive park below teaming with wildlife. There will also be an optional Maasai village visit. Back to the lodge in the evening

Day 10: AMBOSELI TO TSAVO WEST
After breakfast, you will be driven to Tsavo West National Park. Have an en route game drive as you head to your lodge, the splendid Serena Kilaguni. Arriving around midday, have lunch and rest. Later have a late afternoon game drive. Birdlife is prolific with over 400 species. Tsavo west national park’s birdlife is prolific with over 400 species. It is also home to the big five and other types of animals.

Day 11: TSAVO WEST TO TSAVO EAST
After breakfast you will head to Tsavo East National Park. Have an en route game drive as you head to your lodge. Arriving around midday, have lunch and rest. Later have a late afternoon game drive. Tsavo East National Park is famed for herds of dust red elephants. It also has prolific bird life with over 500 recorded species.

Day 12: TSAVO EAST – DIANI
After breakfast say bye to the African bush and head to Diani beach. You will have lunch en route. Arrive to the warm air of the Kenyan coast and friendly smiles of resort staff. The rest of the afternoon will be spend at leisure at the Diani beach which boasts of unspoiled white sands of these beaches.

Day 13 & 14: DIANI

Day : DIANI – NAIROBI
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ukunda Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. You will be picked at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and be hosted for lunch at the famous carnivore restaurant before being dropped at your city hotel or the airport for you flight back home.
