The 20 days East Africa odyssey encompasses the natural and cultural highlights of two countries, Kenya and Tanzania. Beginning in Kenya, the safari takes a circular orientation where you visit popular parks before heading to the neighboring Tanzania. Here, you will also visit popular wildlife sanctuaries and later come back to Kenya to finalize the tour with a much needed rest and relaxation at the Kenyan coast.

DESTINATIONS
- LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK. It is one of the premier game parks in Kenya famous for flamingo and usually referred to as a bird watcher paradise. It is also home to the endangered rhino and Rothschild giraffe.
- MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE. This is one of the finest wildlife reserve in Africa famous for wildebeest migration and superb wildlife viewing all year round.
- SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK. It is a huge wildlife sanctuary comprising of 1.5 million ha of African savannah. It also hosts a huge variety of wildlife
- NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA. It is a UNESCO world heritage site and consist of short grass plains teaming with wildlife. It is also the world’s largest inactive and empty volcanic caldera, formed about 2 to 3 million years ago.
- AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK. The best place in Kenya to view large herds of elephants up close with a backdrop of Africa’s highest Mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro.
- TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK. It is one of the largest National Parks in Kenya covering an area of 9065 sq. km. Birdlife is prolific with over 400 species. It is located along the busy avian migration which encourages bird ringers (tagging) to make an annual pilgrimage to the park. It is also home to the big five and many other types of wildlife.
- TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK. It has a size of 13474 sq. km and it is also one of the largest game park in Kenya. Tsavo East National Park has vast herds of dust red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.
- DIANI BEACH. Diani beach is considered as the most popular beaches of the South Coast of Kenya.
20 DAYS EAST AFRICA ODYSSEY SAFARI ITINERARY
Day 1 : NAIROBI – LAKE NAKURU
You will be met by our company representative at your hotel/airport, briefed and then depart for Lake Nakuru with a brief stop at the Rift-valley viewpoint where you will view and take pictures of the Great Rift Valley. On arrival at the lake Nakuru National Park, you will have an en route game drive as you head to your lodge located deep inside the park. Arrive in time for lunch and later have a late afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.

- Distance: Approximately 170 kilometers from Nairobi (About 2-hour drive).
Day 2: LAKE NAKURU – MAASAI MARA
After breakfast at the camp, you will have an en-route game drive as you depart lake Nakuru national park. You will be driven to Masai Mara national reserve and on arrival, you will proceed to Mara Sekenani Camp for check-in and lunch. After short rest you will have a late afternoon game drive and back to the camp in the evening.

- Distance: Approximately 260 kilometers from Lake Nakuru.
Day 3 : MAASAI MARA FULL DAY
On this day, you will have a full-day of game drives with a visit to the Mara river where you will get to see the huge crocodiles as they bask in the sun. Alongside them, you will also find hippos as they yawn their way to the surface of the water. During the great wildebeest migration, this river turns to a valley of death and only the fittest survive. Herds of wildebeests, zebras and antelopes cross the Mara River to seek greener pastures.

Day 4: MAASAI MARA – SERENGETI
After an early breakfast, you will drive through the southern part of Masai Mara national reserve as you head to Tanzania. Crossing is at the border point in Isebania. You will be assisted by your driver-guide to clear customs. After crossing, you will have packed lunches on the way as you head to Serengeti national park. You will arrive in the late afternoon and have an en route game drive as you head to the lodge.

- Distance: Approximately 358 kilometers from Masai Mara to Serengeti (6-Hour drive)
Day 5 : SERENGETI FULL-DAY
After breakfast you will enjoy full-day game drives. Serengeti national park has rewarding bird viewing with ostrich and Kori bastard being common, variety of larks, finches and raptors. Serengeti shares the same eco-system with Masai Mara hence there are plenty to watch.

Day 6 : SERENGETI – NGORONGORO
After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will arrive in time for Lunch and spend your afternoon at leisure.

- Distance: Approximately 161 kilometers from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation. [3 hrs 30 minutes]
Day 7 : NGORONGORO FULL DAY
After breakfast at the lodge you will proceed for a full day game drive around Ngorongoro conservancy with a visit to the crater itself. Ngorongoro crater is a world heritage site and the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera which is often referred to as the 8th wonder of the world. You will enjoy breath-taking views of scenery and game can be witnessed from both the crater rims and within the crater.

Day 8 : NGORONGORO – AMBOSELI
After morning breakfast at the lodge, check out and drive to Namanga border where you will clear customs and enter Kenya. You will be driven to Amboseli National Park situated under the grand mass of snow-crowned Mt. Kilimanjaro. The park is a striking contrast of snaking lush green marshlands and dusty gray plains. You will have a late afternoon game drive and back to the lodge in the evening.

Day 9: AMBOSELI FULL DAY
You will have an early morning game drive. Later return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast proceed for a thrilling game drive around Amboseli National Park and return for lunch at the camp. At around 1530 hrs. have a late afternoon game drive and later return for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: AMBOSELI – TSAVO WEST
After breakfast you will depart for Tsavo West National Park; renowned for its amazing views and sceneries. On arrival you will have an en-route game drive as you proceed to Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge for check-in and lunch. After some rest, you will head out for an evening game drive with a visit to Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary and later return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11 : TSAVO WEST FULL DAY
After breakfast at the lodge then head out for the morning game drive around the park. Tsavo West National Park is renowned for the Mzima Springs that produce astounding 50 million gallons of fresh water daily. You will come back to the lodge for lunch. After some rest have a late afternoon game drive.

Day 12: TSAVO WEST -TSAVO EAST
After early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will have an en-route game drive as you cross-over to Tsavo East. You will encounter wildlife as you drive towards your lodge. On arrival, check in, have lunch and rest. You will have a late afternoon game drive returning to the lodge in the evening.

Day 13 : TSAVO EAST FULL DAY
After breakfast you will have game drives and later return to the lodge for lunch. You will also have late afternoon game drives.
Day 14 – TSAVO EAST – DIANI/UKUNDA
After breakfast depart for Diani beach. Arrive at the Southern Palms Beach Resort in the afternoon. The rest of the days will be spent at leisure.

- Distance: Approximately 311 kilometers from Tsavo East National Park to Diani beach. [6hrs]
Day 15, 16, 17, 18 & 19 – 2021: DIANI FULL DAY
This days will be spent at leisure with option of engaging in water activities at your own cost. Diani beach has been voted many times as one of the best beaches in Africa. With flawless long stretch of white sand hugged by lush forest and kissed by surf able waves which makes Diani beach very popular.

Day 20 : DIANI – NAIROBI
After breakfast, be transferred to to Diani/Ukunda Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. You will be picked at the airport and be hosted for lunch at the famous carnivore restaurant before being dropped back at the airport for you flight back home.
