The safari starts with a visit to Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s safari icons.Here a world of big-tusked elephants and big cats , all set against the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro. It’s a beautiful, compact park with lots of wildlife. From Amboseli, the safari heads to lake Naivasha which is mainly a break for the distance to Masai mara. Here you will have a walking safari at the hell’s gate national park coming across zebras, the occasional giraffe, warthogs and various antelope species, while birds of prey circle overhead. Masai Mara national reserve is the last wildlife destination before heading to the coast.It is one of Africa’s most famous parks and it’s undoubtedly one of the continent’s best places to see animals. Wildlife viewing is superb throughout the year. Grassy plains and regular rainfall support a huge population of herbivores, in turn attracting many predators.  You end the safari by relaxing at Diani beach, one of the best in Africa. The destination has been awarded the best beach destination in Africa several times. The beach is famous for rolling white sands perfect for sunbathing, crystal clear waters perfect for snorkelling, and an abundance of wildlife to discover.

10 DAYS KENYA HOLIDAY PACKAGE ITINERARY

DAY 1:  AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

You will be picked you up in the morning at around 7 AM. After briefings, depart immediately for Amboseli National Park. Arrive at around midday and check in the lodge for lunch.  After lunch and a short rest, you will embark on a late afternoon game drive. Watch various wildlife in their natural habitat.

 DAY 2:  AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Wake up to amazing views of Mt Kilimanjaro weather permitting. After breakfast engage in full day game drives in this wonderful park. You will have the opportunity of seeing big herds of elephants up close. Another exciting place will be the observation point. Here you will have a birds view of the expansive park below teaming with wildlife. There will also be an optional Maasai village visit. Back to the lodge in the evening

 DAY 3: LAKE NAIVASHA

Depart Amboseli after an early breakfast and drive to Lake Naivasha. On the way, you will have a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch and brief rest, you will go to hell,s gate national park where you will have guided nature walk among wild life.  The park has a variety of wildlife. Giraffe, eland, hartebeest, buffalo and other small gazelles and antelopes are common in the grassy plains. There is also an optional boat rides in the lake.

Back to the lodge in the evening.

DAY 4:  MASAI MARA

Depart Lake Nakuru in the morning and drive to Masai Mara. You will arrive in time for lunch.  After lunch and a short rest you will take your first thrilling evening game drive in the Masai Mara game reserve, one of  Africa’s top safari destinations. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant like in the Masai Mara national reserve. It is one of the best destinations in the world for wildlife viewing in their natural environment. There are over 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and more than 400 birds species recorded in the reserve.

Back to the lodge in the evening.

DAY 5:  MASAI MARA

Have breakfast and then proceed for a full day tour, game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The game drives take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and a plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. You will also have an option of visiting a Masai village at an extra cost. A balloon safari is also another option on this day at extra cost.

DAY 6:  MASAI MARA

You will have an early morning game drive. Early morning is a great time to spot predators – especially lions, cheetah and leopards, each of which prefers to hunt in the cool of dawn and dusk. Back to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. After lunch you will proceed for a late afternoon game drive. Back to the lodge in the evening.

Day 7: MAASAI MARA TO DIANI

After breakfast, you will head to the Keekorok airstrip where you will catch your local flight to Ukunda in the South coast.  You will arrive in the afternoon at your resort. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure in the resort with an option of engaging in water sports at your own cost

DAY 8 AND 9: DIANI

These days are spent by the beach sunbathing or engaged at minimal cost in the numerous water sports that are available including:- Scuba diving, snorkeling, wind surfing, big game fishing and deep sea diving.

DAY 10: DIANI TO NAIROBI

You will check out of the hotel and drive to Ukunda airport for your local flight to Nairobi. In Nairobi, you will have lunch or dinner at the famous carnivore restaurant and then later dropped at the airport for your international flight.
