Join us as we embark on a magical journey into this vast, game-filled national parks of Kenya. PARKS TO BE VISITED
- MERU NATIONAL PARK – It is one of the best places in Kenya to see Rhinos in the wilderness. The park was the setting for Joy Adamson’s book “Born Free” and it remains one of Kenya’s most unspoilt parks.
- SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE – Samburu is the most popular reserve in northern Kenya. It has a large concentration of game including some species only found north of the equator such as the Beisa oryx, the Long Necked Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra and the Somali Ostrich.
- OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY – Ol Pejeta is one of the prime sanctuaries of Laikipia Plateau and all of the Big Five are present. Its highlights include the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa
7 DAYS WILDERNESS PATH KENYA SAFARI ITINERARY
DAY 1: NAIROBI TO MERU NATIONAL PARK
Pick up from your hotel or airport in the Morning and drive to Meru National park, with views of the scenic countryside as you drive along. The journey covers about 350Km on Nyeri-Nanyuki road. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch and short rest, proceed for an afternoon game drive. Back to the lodge in the evening.

DAY 2: MERU NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY
Have an early morning game drives in this wild and beautiful game reserve. Later return to the lodge for breakfast. You can take some time to relax at the pool before lunch. In the afternoon, have a game drive with a visit to the former home of Joy and Adamson and Elsa the Lioness. Back to the lodge in the evening

DAY 3: MERU TO SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
Depart Meru early in the morning after breakfast and proceed to Samburu Game reserve. On arrival, check in and have lunch. After lunch, there is some time to relax or have a quick nap before you set off on the first game drive in Samburu Game reserve.

DAY 4: SAMBURU FULL DAY
The day is spent game viewing in the reserve during morning and afternoon game drives. Samburu is part of a lava plain that includes a diverse landscape of thorn scrub, red dirt, dried river beds, broken volcanic rock, steep hills, and rocky outcroppings. The region is home to the Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk antelope, Somali ostriches and the shy Beisa Oryx commonly referred to as the Samburu special five. Back to the lodge in the evening.

DAY 5: SAMBURU – Ol PEJETA/SWEETWATERS CONSERVANCY
Depart Samburu in the morning for Ol pejeta conservancy. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, you will head out for an afternoon game drive at the Ol Pejeta conservancy which is famous for its chimpanzee and Rhino conservation. Return to the lodge in the evening.

- Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
DAY 6: OLPEJETA
On this day, you will explore the ol pejeta conservancy with morning and afternoon game drives. You will have Lunch at the camp. You will later have an opportunity to visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. The Viewing of the Northern white rhinos require advance booking and is subject to availability.

DAY 7: DRIVE BACK TO NAIROBI
On this last day of 7 days wilderness Kenya Safari, you will leave the camp after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi. On arrival you will have lunch at the Famous carnivore restaurant. After lunch you will get a drop off at your hotel or the airport for your flight home.
