Day 1: Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive to Amboseli national park where you will have afternoon game drives after lunch.

Day 2: Have an early morning game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast, then be driven to Nairobi.

Detailed 2-Day Amboseli Private Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

We’ll have our guide pick you up early at 6:30 am from the airport or your Nairobi hotel, for a leisurely drive to Amboseli National Park. Once we reach Amboseli Sentrim lodge, you can refuel with some delicious lunch before taking off for an exciting evening game drive from 3:00 pm – get ready to witness wildebeest and zebras in their full splendor, proud lions, sly hyenas, diverse antelopes, and last but not least – majestic elephants against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with Sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands.  At a minimal cost can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.

Wrap up your day by retiring back to our camp in the evening for dinner and a comfortable stay overnight!

Day 2: Amboseli to Nairobi

Weather permitting wake up and marvel in the morning views of Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest peak of Africa.  Have an early morning game drive. Early morning is a great time to spot predators – especially lions, cheetah and leopards, each of which prefers to hunt in the cool of dawn and dusk.  Amboseli National Park also host over 420 bird species. Its unique habitat has birds residing in the swamps, marshes, on the banks of seasonal lakes, grasslands and acacia woodlands dominating the park.

After the game drive return to the lodge for breakfast. Check out later and be driven to Nairobi.
