DESTINATIONS

1. AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – It is one of the Kenya’s most popular parks. Famous for the huge herds of elephants as well viewing of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
2. LAKE NAIVASHA – Known as a world class birding destination. Lake Naivasha is a is a freshwater lake in Kenya and a RAMSAR site, a designation that reflects the ecological importance of the wetlands around the lake.
3. LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – Best known for its birdlife and as a refuge for the White Rhino and rothschild giraffe, it is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with flamingos and other water birds being the major attractions.
4. MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE – The main highlight of the trip. Vast with stunning views and also has the largest variety of animals with all the big five found in the reserve. It is one of the best destinations in the world for wildlife viewing in their Natural environment. 

 

9 DAYS KENYA SAFARI  ITINERARY

DAY ONE: NAIROBI TO AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

You will be picked by the driver guide in the morning and driven to Amboseli National Park. Arrival will be in time for Lunch. After lunch and brief rest, you will proceed on an afternoon game drive viewing the various attractions in the park. Back to the lodge in the evening

DAY TWO: AMBOSELI

On day two of your 9 days Kenya safari, you will have morning and afternoon game drives in one of Kenya’s premier parks. The day will be spent exploring various sections of the park and viewing its amazing wildlife and different habitat which include the seasonal Lake Amboseli and the observation hill. You will also have an option of visiting a Masai village as you head back to the lodge in the evening.

DAY THREE: AMBOSELI TO LAKE NAIVASHA

Depart Amboseli after an early breakfast and drive to Lake Naivasha. On the way, you will have a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point. You will arrive at lunch time. The rest of the afternoon will be spent at leisure with an option of boat rides at the lake at an extra cost.

DAY FOUR: HELLS GATE

After breakfast you will be driven to Hells Gate National Park where you will have a guided walking safari among the wildlife. You can also hike in the park or cycle in the park. You will get back to the lodge in the afternoon for lunch. The rest of the day will be spent at leisure on the lakeside.

DAY FIVE: LAKE NAKURU

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Enter the park and have an enroute game drive as you head to your lodge located inside the park. You will arrive at the hotel in time for lunch. After lunch and brief rest, continue with an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge in the evening.

DAY SIX: LAKE NAKURU

On this day you will have morning and afternoon game drive across the Pink Lake often referred so due to it’s Great masses of Flamingos not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Other animals found in the park include, lion, leopard, flamingos, Egyptian geese, waterbuck, giraffe, hyena, buffalo, baboons, vervet monkeys, gazelles

DAY SEVEN: MASAI MARA

You will leave Lake Nakuru National park in the morning after early breakfast and drive to Masai Mara National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch and brief rest, you embark on an afternoon game drive. Back to the lodge in the evening.

DAY EIGHT: FULL DAY MASAI MARA GAME DRIVES

After breakfast you leave the lodge carrying packed lunches and embark on a full day game viewing in Africa’s finest park. Balloon safari is also available in the early morning at extra cost. You will drive to various places in the expansive Masai Mara National Reserve. In the late afternoon, you will have an option of visiting a Masai cultural village as you head back to the lodge in the evening.

DAY NINE:  NAIROBI

Depart the lodge after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi. On arrival, you will have lunch at the famous carnivore restaurant before having a drop off at your hotel or the airport.
