DESTINATION

• TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK – It is one of the largest national parks in Kenya covering an area of 9065 sq. km. Combined with Tsavo East national park, they together form one of the largest game park in the world. This is truly a wilderness outpost. The park is semi arid and the landscape includes open plains, savannah bush, semi-desert scrub, acacia woodlands, numerous rocky ridges and outcrops and riverine vegetation.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: NAIROBI TO TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK

Ready for an adventure? Your driver guide will be waiting to pick you up from either the Nairobi hotel or airport in order to kick off your incredible safari! After a brief orientation, you’ll make your way to Tsavo West National Park. On entering the park, keep your eyes peeled for some amazing wildlife before checking into the lodge and treating yourself to a delicious lunch. The fun continues with an afternoon game drive that includes a special visit to the rhino sanctuary – talk about unforgettable! And when evening falls, you’ll return back to the hotel and settle in for a peaceful night’s rest.

DAY 2: TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK

On this day, you will have morning and afternoon game drives. In between you can relax at the lodge watching animals as they come to the water hole or spoil your self at the lodge’s spa with minimal cost. Other activities include bush breakfast or cocktail sundowner at extra cost.  The extensive diverse habitats of Tsavo West offers an ideal area to search for pride of Lions, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Zebras, Hippos, Wildebeests and many more. Mzima springs, an underground water seepage from Chyulu Hills is a good place to watch the Hippos. There is also wealth and diversity of birds’ species here for bird-lovers.

DAY 3: TSAVO WEST TO NAIROBI
