  • OL PEJETA CONSERVANCYOl Pejeta is one of the prime sanctuaries of Laikipia Plateau and all of the Big Five are present. Highlights include the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa. It’s the only place in Kenya where chimpanzees can be seen, in a Sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from black market. It also has some of the highest predator densities in Kenya. Ol pejeta private status enables it  to offer night game drives, an activity not available in most national parks and reserves in Kenya.

Our driver will pick you from the airport or hotel in Nairobi, after briefing you about your safari, you will depart Nairobi for Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Upon arrival, check in at your camp and have lunch. After short rest you will proceed for a late afternoon game drive. Serena Sweetwaters tented camp is located in a prime location in Ol Pejeta conservancy. The conservancy is one of the few places where you can have night game drives at an extra cost. Other optional activities include lion tracking, camel ride, bush lunch/dinner etc. Viewing of the worlds remaining Northern white rhino needs to be arranged in advance.

On this day after breakfast, explore the conservancy with morning and afternoon game drives. Lunch will be served at the camp. Ol Pejeta conservancy is an excellent destination to explore, from the pioneering conservation projects that have made the conservancy famous to the spectacular sightings of black and white rhinos, the Big Five, the Sweetwaters chimpanzees and many more. This is an experience like no other.
