Your first destination on 8-days Amboseli, Naivasha, Mara & Nakuru Safari will be Amboseli National Park. Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, the Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. In fact, it  is also one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats ranging from the dried-up beds of Lake Amboseli.

We will later head to Lake Naivasha. With the backdrop of Mount Longonot, Lake Naivasha, the finest fresh-water lake of Great Rift valley hosts a variety of wildlife. The lake itself with its green banks invites visitors into the folds of its mesmerizing hypnotism.

Experience wildlife in abundance in Masai Mara National Reserve. It is also known as the finest wildlife destinations in the world, with an excellent chance of seeing the big five. The Masai Mara National Reserve is the most popular destination in the world especially due to the annual wildebeest’s migration. 

Finally head to Lake nakuru National Park. This is where your 8-days Amboseli, Naivasha, Mara & Nakuru safari will come to and end. Surrounded by 450 ornithological species, the pink delightful flamingos of lake Nakuru National Park steal the limelight. This natural aviary is a marvelous spectacle of birds as well as Rothschild’s giraffe and the endangered black and white rhino.

DAY ONE:

NAIROBI TO AMBOSELI

After an early breakfast, you will drive south to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive in search of the free-range tusked elephants, wildebeest, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, Maasai giraffe among other animals. Here you will also get to enjoy the breath-taking photogenic view of Mount Kilimanjaro; weather permitting. Return to the camp in the evening.

DAY TWO:

AMBOSELI FULL DAY GAME DRIVES

Early breakfast followed by morning game drive in the park. Experience activities such as viewing Large Herds of Elephants, Mt. Kilimanjaro, Big Five, visiting the Observation Hill which allows an overall view of the whole park especially the swamps and elephants, Swamp below observation hill hosts many elephants, buffaloes, hippos and a variety of water fowls like pelican and Egyptian goose. After lunch, have an afternoon game drive.

DAY THREE:

AMBOSELI TO LAKE NAIVASHA

On this day you will have breakfast then head to Naivasha. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, start biking tour at hells gate. Visit the gorges inside the park. Gorges are small thin depressions of land mass where you can walk underneath. Some areas have formed caves where you can walk through. When done with the tour at hells gate, bring the bikes back at the gate. In the evening, go for a boat ride on the glittering lake Naivasha and view the herds of hippos and various water birds found within the lake.

DAY FOUR:

LAKE NAIVASHA- MASAI MARA

Early morning breakfast then check out from the lodge then drive to the Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most famous national reserve. This area of preserved savannah wilderness covers an area of 1510km2 and is part of the vast Serengeti plains. It is widely known for its picturesque wildebeest migration. It is home to the big five that is the lion, the buffalo, the rhino, the elephant and the leopard among other magnificent animals such as the giraffes, black backed jackal, bat eared fox, Thomson gazelle, topi and hartebeest. It also harbours over 500 different species of birds such as ostrich, bustard, white backed vulture, secretary bird and marabou stork. You will arrive in time for lunch. After a short relaxation period you will embark on your afternoon game drive to feast your eyes on the marvels that the Mara has to offer. In the evening you will retire to your lodge, have dinner and fall asleep to the sounds of the bush.

DAY FIVE & SIX:

FULL DAY MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

After a scrumptious breakfast you will head out for a full day Mara experience. The morning and afternoon game drives take you in search of the Big Five as well as the plethora of outstanding wildlife found within the reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. Wherever you go in the vast Maasai Mara the abundance of wildlife is staggering. . It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Leopards are harder to spot, but reasonably common. Back to the camp in the evening

DAY SEVEN:

MAASAI MARA TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. This day is spent game viewing within the park, which is renowned for its conservation efforts towards the black rhino. Have lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drives across the pink lake often referred as that due to its great masses of flamingos but due to high level of water and climate change, only few flamingos can be spotted. Look out for other wild animals like warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks and the occasional leopard as well as white and black rhino which were introduced to the park a few years ago.

DAY EIGHT:

NAKURU NATIONAL PARK TO NAIROBI

On your final day you will have breakfast then check out of your hotel. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. Later be dropped at your hotel or at the airport for your international flight home-bound.
