Our 15 days rustic Kenya wildlife and beach safari explores some of the best safari destinations in Kenya and ends at one of the best beaches in Africa. It starts with Samburu national reserve where you will spend 2 nights. The reserve is rich in wildlife with fame for abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx also referred to as (Samburu Special). The reserve is also popular with a elephants. Large predators such as lions are an important attraction. Kamunyak the Miracle Lioness that adapted the baby Oryx used to be a resident in the reserve. Wild dog sightings are also a common attraction to this unique protected area.
The safari then proceeds to Aberdare National park. Game animals easily seen in the park during game viewing include; African Elephant, black rhino, leopard, spotted hyena, olive baboon, black and white colobus monkey, sykes monkey, cape buffalo, warthog. Rare sightings include those of bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat, blue duiker. Bird viewing is rewarding with about 290 recorded bird species, including the Aberdare Cisticola and the Jackson’s francolin.
From Aberdare national park, visit the Lake Nakuru national park. Lake Nakuru National Park has over 400 bird species making it a bird watchers paradise. In addition it is home to over 50 mammal species. When it comes to plant species, it has over 500. The park is famous for the flocks of the greater and lesser Flamingo. When it comes mammals most of the big game reside here apart from the elephant. It offers a sanctuary to the endangered rhino and it has the largest population in Kenya. Another animal that in endangered and finds residence in Lake Nakuru National Park is the Rothschild giraffe
The 15-day rustic Kenya wildlife and beach safari then takes you to Masai Mara National reserve. Masai Mara National Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya and one of the finest wildlife reserve in Africa. The park is famous for the annual wildebeest migration. The Masai Mara is also one of the best place in Africa where you can see the big cats. You can also spot the Cheetahs on the open savannah eyeing their next meal. Its varied habitats host a large variety of wildlife and is also home to more than 500 bird species. This is the world cup of wildlife viewing.
Lake Naivasha will be our next destination after Masai Mara on the 15-days rustic Kenya wildlife and beach safari. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among acacias, Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the hippos sleep the day in the shallows. The forest surroundings the lake are abundant with birds. There is also the hells gate National Park where you will have nature walk among wildlife.
From lake Naivasha you will head to Amboseli National Park. The Park boasts of over 80 different types of Mammals and more than 400 bird species. Its main attraction is huge numbers of big tasked elephants which can be viewed at close range in their natural environment. Another major attraction to the park is Mt Kilimanjaro which is Africa’s highest peak at (5895m). It is on the Tanzanian side of the border and very close enough to provide exemplary vistas and a back drop when viewing wildlife and photography.
After Amboseli visit Tsavo West National park. The park is beautiful, rugged and very wild. Birdlife is prolific with over 400 species. It is located along the busy avian migration which encourages bird ringers (tagging) to make an annual pilgrimage to the park. There are plenty of animals in Tsavo National Park. It is home to the big five and other types of animals which include, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, Masai giraffe, bush baby among many other varieties. There is a drive through rhino sanctuary which enhances the chances of sporting the very elusive black rhino. The park is well known for the legendary man eating Lions which used to prey on workers building the colonial railway in the 1900s.
Tsavo East National Park is the last game viewing destination before heading to the beach. Tsavo East National Park is well known for dust red elephants due to the color of soil in the area. The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. Other wildlife found in Tsavo National Park include rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life with over 500 recorded species.
Finally the climax of the 15 days rustic Kenya wildlife and Diani beach safari ends in Diani beach. Located on the breathtaking Indian Ocean, soft white sands, lush greenery and the striking shade of emerald blue that emerges from its clear warm waters, Diani Beach in Kenya is best for most relaxing retreat. It is indeed the perfect place to get away from the stress of everyday life or to relax after an exciting safari.
At the end of your regeneration and relaxing period in Diani Beach, you will fly back to Nairobi on a local flight and after being hosted for dinner at the famous carnivore restaurant, you will catch your international flight back home.

Depart Samburu in the morning after break fast and drive to Aberdare National park contrasting the semi arid environment with lush coffee and tea estates and countryside dotted with homesteads. You arrive at the base hotel, the Outspan for lunch. After lunch you will be transferred to treetops lodge inside the park. Here you watch wild life from the balcony of the hotel as they come to the water hole. The park is an ideal location for viewing Kenya’s birds and animals as well as for topography enthusiasts. This Park has wide variety of wildlife including the lion, leopard, African elephant, hunting dogs among others.

After early breakfast you will depart for Lake Nakuru. On the way you will have brief stopovers at the equator point and Thompson falls. You will then proceed to Lake Nakuru. After lunch and short rest you embark on a tour of Lake Nakuru National park. Flocks of greater and lesser flamingos are found on this Lake which turns it pink hence it is dubbed the pink lake. It is also home to the endangered black and white Rhino, the big cats and other wildlife except the elephant.
