The romantic safari will start with a visit to Meru national park where you will be accommodated at the famous Elsa Kopje Meru described as unashamedly romantic and beautifully styled. Meru national park is indeed wild and beautiful. It Straddles the equator and bisected by 13 rivers and numerous mountain-fed streams. It has diverse scenery from woodlands on the slopes of Nyambeni Mountain Range, north east of Mt. Kenya, to wide open plains with meandering riverbanks dotted with palms. Little visited and utterly unspoilt, it is ideal for off the beaten path safari. Few places are comparable to the remote and rugged atmosphere found here. The Park is most famous for Joy Adamson’s book “Born Free”. The story of the Adamson’s life and research amongst lion and cheetah. “Elsa” the well known lioness’s grave is here.
From Meru, the romantic safari takes you to Ol pejeta conservancy. Here, you will be hosted at the Sweet waters serena camp Morani wing. Ol Pejeta is the largest black rhino sanctuary in east Africa. Ol pejeta is also home to two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhino. It’s the only place in Kenya where you can see chimpanzees, in a sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from black market. It has some of the highest predator densities in Kenya.
The romantic safari will also visit lake Nakuru national park where you will be accommodated at The Cliff, a luxurious accommodation facility located inside the park and overlooking the lake. Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the popular parks in Kenya. It has over 400 bird species making it a bird watchers paradise. In addition it is home to over 50 mammal species. The park is famous for the flocks of the greater and lesser Flamingo that gather around the lake numbering around 2 million, which turns the lake pink. This has given the lake a nickname; the pink lake.
The climax of the safari will be a visit to the legendary Masai mara national reserve. Here you will be accommodated at the luxurious Entim mara camp private wing. The camp is ideal for couples and its fewer tents offer privacy. It is located on mara river where wildebeest usually providing action packed views from the comfort of the camp. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant like in the Masai Mara National Reserve. It is one of the best destinations in the world for wildlife viewing in their Natural environment. There are over 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and more than 400 birds species recorded on the reserve. The reserve is famous for the annual wildebeest migration that occurs annually where more than two million animals arrive in Masai Mara from Serengeti in July and go back in October. You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and drive to Meru National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch. After short rest you embark on a late afternoon game drive within the park.

This is truly an off the beaten path destination. In this day you, will have morning and afternoon game drives within the park with less crowd. Meru wildlife includes large herds of Buffalo, Bushbuck, Duiker, Eland, Elephant, Gazelle, Genet, Giraffe, Hartebeest, Impala, Kudu, Waterbuck and Grevy Zebra.
Expect to see Baboons, Hyena, Jackal, Kudu, Lion, Mongoose, Oryx, Oribi, Vervet Monkey and Warthogs, Bush-pig, Porcupine, Black and White Rhino. The rivers are abound in Hippo and Crocodile. Bird life includes Peter’s fin foot which inhabits the Murera and Ura Rivers, the Pel’s fishing Owl, Kingfishers, Rollers, Bee-eaters, Starlings and numerous weavers.

After morning breakfast, you will depart Meru national park and be driven to Ol pejeta conservancy. You will arrive around midday and after having lunch and short rest, you will have a late afternoon game drive in the conservancy.

DAY 6: NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
On this day you will have morning and afternoon game drives in this wonderful park. Lake Nakuru national park is among Kenya’s popular and finest national parks. It is mostly renowned for its conservation efforts towards the endangered black and white rhinos. Lions, waterbucks, buffalos, and baboons are all residents here. It’s also famous for its millions of pink flamingos lining the shores of Lake Nakuru.

DAY 7: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast, depart lake Naivasha and be driven to Masai mara national reserve. After lunch and short rest, you will have an afternoon an game drive in Masai Mara, the best safari destination in Africa. DAY 8 AND 9: MASAI MARA
The two days will be spent game viewing and also relaxing in Masai Mara national reserve. Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos are also found in great numbers. You will also have an option of visiting a cultural Masai Village which can be arranged by the driver guide. The evenings in Masai Mara provide a perfect atmosphere for a sundowner relaxation.

DAY 10: DEPATURE
