  1. NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK The park has diverse bird species with over 520 species recorded. It is also a stop-off for birds migrating to (and within) Africa, so you’re bound to see a huge array of bird species. Common birds seen in the park include common ostrich, blacksmith lapwing, Egyptian goose, fish eagle among many others. 
  2. LAKE NAIVASHAIt is known as a world class birding destination, the high productivity of lake allows many bird species to thrive here, with over 300 species recorded. It is a RAMSAR site, a designation that reflects the ecological importance of the wetlands around the lake. Birds found here include African fish eagle, white egret, purple heron,  crowned crane, Basra Reed Warbler etc.
  3. LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK Lake Nakuru national park is a remarkable birding destination in Kenya. It host to over 500 species of birds and is a great bird watching site. The park is usually referred to as bird watchers paradise.Bird species found in Lake Nakuru national park include Ostriches, Flamingos, Grebes,White-bellied Bustard and Black-bellied Bustard  among many others.
  4. MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE The reserve has variety of habitats which are home to more than 470 bird species including a daunting 47 species of birds of prey. From the start of the day to the end of the day, bird songs can be heard across the Maasai Mara. Common birds include magpie shrike, rosy-throated long claw, Secretary bird, Kori Bustard, Southern Ground Hornbill, Schalow’s Turaco, the list endless.

After breakfast you will depart your lodge located inside the park accompanied with our knowledgeable driver guide. Have a morning game driver and return to the camp as the day becomes warmer. After lunch you will continue with birding drives in the park. Back to the lodge in the evening. The Nairobi National Park is a birder’s paradise, hosting almost 500 different bird species.

After breakfast your birding safari takes you to Lake Naivasha. The day will be spent at the lake shores encountering birds drawn to the lake providing a wealth of lake shore bird sightings. The lake’s extensive riparian fringe hosts a great variety of birds.

Breakfast is followed by check-out after which your safari heads to lake Nakuru national park. The next two days are devoted to exploring the region surrounding lake Nakuru, which will provide a wealth of bird sightings. In between your feathered pursuits, you are sure to also encounter the many plains game species.

After breakfast we depart for premier wildlife destination in Africa.  Masai Mara National reserve supports a wide diversity of eco-systems, which in turn supports a huge diversity of Flora and Fauna. Two days will be spent visiting the numerous well situated habitats in the reserve. It boasts one of Kenyas’s highest checklists  with over 400 bird species recorded here.  You will also get to see the big five and animals that make this park Africa’s best.
