6 Day lake Nakuru,Masai Mara,lake Naivasha safari


This Kenyan tour takes you through the famous lakes in the Rift valley and the Majestic Mara. The major highlights on this tour are; the great Rift valley escarpment, the ornithological site & Rhino sanctuary, the scenic Savannah land and wildlife of Maasai Mara as well as the Crescent Island at Lake Naivasha.

DAY 1. Arrival

Upon arrival you will be met by the company representative and the driver guide. After meet and greet you will be briefed about your safari then transferred to the hotel.

After early breakfast you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with a brief stopover at the panoramic Rift valley viewpoint. Here you get to see the escarpment that has extended its formation all the way from Jordan to Mozambique. You thereafter proceed to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch you start your afternoon game drive in this park which is also known as a bird watcher’s paradise. Flocks of flamingos are found on the lake turning it pink. It is also home to the endangered black and white Rhino, the big cats and other wildlife. At 1800 hrs you return to the lodge.

Early breakfast then depart to Maasai Mara via the beautiful flower farms of Naivasha  arriving in time for lunch. Upon arrival you will check in at the lodge and have lunch. After lunch you will take your first thrilling game drive in this reserve, one of East Africa’s top safari destinations. It incorporates 1510 km² of incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile reverie woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife. At 1800 hrs you return to the lodge for dinner and relax under the stars, falling asleep to the sounds of the bush.



After breakfast you will proceed for a full day game drive in this finest reserve. The game drives take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as the Masai giraffe, Baboons, Warthogs, the bat eared foxes, the grey jackals, the spotted hyena, topis, Impala, Hartebeests, wildebeest. The Savannah Elephants, The African cape buffaloes, Zebras and Hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see the Black manned lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Leopards are are usually nocturnal, but reasonably common. You will also be taken for a cultural visit to a maasai village. Back to the lodge in the evening.

After breakfast you leave Maasai Mara for Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you enjoy boat rides at the lake. The boat takes you for a scenic tour of the lake with a visit to the crescent island which is an animal and bird sanctuary on the Eastern side of the lake. A number of mammals can be seen grazing in the surrounding lake environs such as the Maasai Giraffe, Zebra, dik diks, steenbok, Impala, gazelles and at night hippos. You spend some time wandering around at your own pace and enjoy the peace and quiet broken only by the sounds of the island inhabitants.

After breakfast you have a leisurely drive to Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch at a place of your choice assisted by the driver guide. Spend the afternoon at leisure with optional shopping depending on the schedule of your flight and the traffic situation in the city. In the evening you are hosted for dinner at the famous Carnivore restaurant thereafter you are dropped at the airport in time for your international flight.
