This safari begins in Masai Mara which is regarded as known as one of the finest wildlife destinations in the World. DAY 2:NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA

Distance 228 km 4 hrs

Depart Nairobi at 7 AM after breakfast  and driven to Masai Mara with a brief stop at the Rift valley view point. Upon arrival you will check in at the lodge have lunch and relax and thereafter you will take your first thrilling evening game drive in the Masai Mara game reserve, one of East Africa’s top safari destinations. The Mara reserve incorporates 1510 km² of incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile reverie woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife. Returning from your  foray into Masai Mara you will have dinner and relax under the stars, falling asleep to the sounds of the bush.

DAY 3,4 AND 5 : MASAI MARA FULL DAY GAME DRIVES.

The next 3 days will be spend  game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Leopards are harder to spot, but reasonably common. You will also be taken for a cultural visit to a masai village.

DAY 6: MASAI MARA-LAKE NAIVASHA

 

Distance 213 km 4 hrs

Depart  Masai Mara in the morning for Lake Naivasha where you will arrive in time for lunch.Check in and relax. After lunch you will enjoy boat rides while watching hippos.You will also disembark at the crescent Island were you will have guided walking tour of the Island.

Back to the hotel in the evening

DAY 7,8 AND 9 : LAKE NAIVASHA-AMBOSELI

Distance 310 km time 5hrs 30 minutes
Pick up from your Naivasha hotel in the morning drive to Amboseli National Park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains.It is also known for huge nember of elephants. The elephants are more than 1500 and can be seen roaming around the water ponds. You also get to see the lake Amboseli and the observation hill.

The animals found in an Amboseli game park  include the elephants, lions, hippos, cheetahs, leopards, gazelles, elands, giraffes, buffalo among other big five animals.

DAY 10,11,12 LAMU

Distance 680 km 5 hrs

Leave Amboseli at 6AM in the morning for Nairobi where you will take your flight to Lamu at 1 PM.On arrival you will be transferred by boat to Peponi Hotel.The rest of the days will be spend at leisure . Lamu is a place like no other, a peaceful tropical island where life is lived at it’s own relaxed rhythm, but a place whose history is as mysterious and fascinating as the winding streets of it’s medieval stone town.

The island itself is a beautiful place of rolling dunes and endless beaches, where tiny villages nestle among coconut and mango plantations and lateen sailed dhows ply the waters. But Lamu’s real attraction is its Old town.

DAY 13: LAMU – NAIROBI

Distance 466 km 1HR.10 MINUTES

After having lunch you will depart for Nairobi. You will be transferred by boat to the airport where you will board your flight to Nairobi at 3.40PM.On arrival in Nairobi at around 4.50PM,you will be picked at the airport and taken for dinner at the famous carnivore restaurant. Later you will be dropped at the airport according to your international flight schedule
